Capturing a couple saying “I do” is always special to me!

To be part of one of the biggest days of their lives is a privilege, and I always aim to capture every second to be treasured forever.

How I prepare to capture a couples big day

As soon as I am contacted about capturing a wedding, I always aim to confirm if I am available or not as quickly as possible.

With clearly set out packages and prices, nothing is hidden.

I am always happy to meet face to face to discuss requirements with a no obligation meeting.

Once the booking has been confirmed I have a standard process that I follow to make capturing the wedding day go as smoothly as possible.

1 – Contracts are exchanged, to set in writing what you are getting from me.
To confirm timings, locations and the package that you have chosen.

2 – A Wedding Photography List is provided. This is for any “Staged/Family/Formal” photo requests to be written down. This means that we can get through the formal photo’s much quicker, and get on to celebrating the big day!

3 – Visit to the venue/reception is always preferred if time allows. This gives me the option to see what the location is like for lighting, photo spots and to discuss the day with the couple.

On the day

I always turn up early in case of traffic and to make sure I am ready.
From the moment I arrive, I will start photographing anything I see that I feel will add to your memories.
I always aim to merge in with the day. I’m there when I’m needed but otherwise I want you to enjoy your day. So I will blend in to the background and capture those beautiful candid/natural images.
